Welcome to R.D. Hamilton Photography.

For the past 30 plus years photography has been a great hobby of mine. I started out way back in elementary school as the school photographer with black & white film and developing the film in the darkroom!

I had always yearned for the ability to view pictures right after I took them. So in 2002 when I purchased a Canon G2, it was like a dream come true...the ability to take pictures and immediately learn what I was doing right and wrong. I now shoot with a Canon 30D and mainly primes (35, 85L, 135L, 200L, 400L) with my favourite subjects being wildlife and people.
